Welcome to Lagos Marvel Lions Club, District 404B2 Nigeria, a community of dedicated individuals committed to making a positive impact in our society. Our members come from diverse backgrounds but share a common goal: to serve others with passion, compassion, and humility.
With Lions Clubs located throughout Nigeria, we strive to address the unique needs of our local communities while also collaborating with fellow Lions Clubs around the globe to create sustainable change. From providing access to quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunities to combating climate change and promoting peace and international understanding, we are dedicated to serving those most in need.
It is with profound gratitude, humility, and a deep sense of responsibility that I welcome you all as I begin my journey as the President of Lagos Marvel Lions Club for the 2026/2027 Lions Service Year.
I give thanks to God and sincerely appreciate every member of this great club for the confidence reposed in me. It is truly an honour to serve alongside a team of passionate and dedicated Lions who continue to make meaningful differences in our communities.
This service year, our theme is Light Up.
Light symbolises hope where there is despair, direction where there is uncertainty, compassion where there is suffering, and opportunities where there are challenges.
As Lions, we are called to be that light in our communities by serving with our 3Ts: Time, Treasure and Talents. Therefore, all members will be given a fresh opportunity to serve during this Lions service year.
This year, I challenge each member to:
Participate actively in our service projects.
Become an ambassador of Lionism within your personal and professional networks.
Be ready to serve.
As we embrace this theme, I encourage every member to align with the global Mission 1.5 initiative to grow our membership to 1.5 million Lions worldwide. Membership growth is not merely about increasing our numbers; it is about expanding our capacity to serve. Every new Lion represents another heart committed to making a difference and another pair of hands dedicated to humanitarian service.
Together, we can build a stronger and more vibrant Lagos Marvel Lions Club.
One of our flagship service projects for this year is the donation of medical equipment to the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Wellness Unit at Gbagada General Hospital, Lagos.
This project reflects our commitment to improving healthcare delivery and saving lives within our community.
As we begin this new chapter, let us continue to uphold the values of integrity, compassion, teamwork, and selfless service that define Lionism.
I believe this will be a year of growth, impactful service, and stronger fellowship.
Together, we will not only light up our communities but also inspire others to serve.

A community service club dedicated to giving back to the community, the less privileged, the needy and also impact lives positively. Our members share a common goal which is to grow our organization to be able to serve more with diligence, dedication, and empathy while also expanding the legacy of service.
As an evolving community service club with the purpose to serve, we have been able to provide few services to the community from healthcare, to public infrastructure donation, education sector, charitable outreach and particularly contribute to the community well- being.
