Lion Adekemi Badmos, PMJF, NLCF was inducted into Lions Clubs International on the 6th of December, 2016. She is the visionary Charter President of the Lagos Marvel Lions Club, where she served with distinction during the 2023/2024 Lions Service Year, earning the prestigious recognition as the 3rd Best Club President in District 404B2 Nigeria, and also received Club Excellence award from Lions International. She also received the best Zone Chairperson Award 2024/2025 LSY.
Her passion for humanitarian service has propelled her into several notable leadership positions within the district, including Zone 4B Chairperson for the 2024/2025 Lions Service Year, Guiding Lion for Maryland Lions Club (2025–2027), International Convention Chairperson for the 2024/2025 Lions Service Year, and presently serving as Region 4 Chairperson for the 2025/2026 Lions Service Year.
A recipient of the prestigious Melvin Jones Fellowship, Lion Adekemi is also a Certified Guiding Lion and a graduate of both the Emerging Lions Leadership Institute (ELLI) and the Regional Lions Leadership Institute (RLLI). Her commitment to the ideals of Lionism is reflected in her consistent presence at District convention, Multiple District convention, African Convention, and International Conventions, where she continues to inspire and champion the cause of service to humanity.
