We celebrate our diaspora impact as an Hunger outreach was carried out today at Idia’s Community Kitchen, East London, led by our diaspora member Lion Anne Akinsanya alongside intending Lion Adekunbi Lawal-Champion. In the cold winter Saturday morning, families were warmed and fed with bowls of jollof rice and grilled chicken, reminding us that service knows no borders.

As we conclude our Hunger Service Week, we reflect with deep gratitude on a week filled with purpose, collaboration, and impact.

From the insightful conversations at our Virtual Panel Discussion, to hands-on community service through Market Pot of Kindness, Hope in a Hamper & Box, and Kindness Meal, we reached families, shared nourishment, and raised awareness on sustainable approaches to hunger.

This week has reaffirmed that hunger is not just about food — it is about nutrition, dignity, education, and community support.

Thank you to every Lion, Leo, partner, and volunteer who contributed their time, resources, and heart.
